Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our Cardiac Ablation Solutions and Cardiac Surgery platforms. You will install, calibrate, inspect, and service CV systems at customer sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and high reliability.

You will communicate technical information to clinicians and staff, document activities, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to drive product improvements. Expect substantial travel and strong patient care focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of technical, clinical field service, or clinical customer support experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot medical equipment and apply engineering principles.
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, inspections, verification, corrective and preventive maintenance of CV consoles and systems.
• Maintain and submit technical records per regulatory requirements.
• Provide input to service processes for continuous improvement.
• Deliver technical training to distributors, partners, and customer representatives.
• Assist physicians and technicians during clinical procedures as needed.
