Qualifications

• Production software delivery experience with C++.
• Strong Linux/UNIX fundamentals and memory management knowledge.
• Experience with distributed systems and service-to-service communication.

Responsibilities

• Own well-scoped features from design through testing, rollout, and production follow-up.
• Develop and maintain C++ code in the Chromium-based browser and contribute across Go, Rust, and TypeScript services.
• Debug failures across browser processes, Linux hosts, and distributed services using logs, metrics, and profiling tools.
• Improve session reliability, startup time, latency, and resource efficiency with measured improvements.
• Write maintainable code and automated tests; participate in code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with teams, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation after onboarding and contribute to incident follow-up.
