Cloudflare is seeking a Systems Engineer for Browser Isolation to join our Austin-based team. You will build and maintain components across the Chromium-based browser, distributed services, and the Go/Rust/TypeScript stack.

You will collaborate across engineering disciplines, diagnose complex issues, and optimize performance while participating in on-call rotations to ensure reliability and security of browser isolation services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ with memory management and concurrency concepts.
• Experience with Go, Rust, or TypeScript in production systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service communication, timeouts, retries.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and diagnostic tools.

Responsabilités

• Own well-scoped features from design to production with team support.
• Develop and maintain C++ code in Chromium-based browser and services in Go, Rust, TS.
• Debug failures across browser processes, Linux hosts, and distributed services.
• Improve session reliability, startup time, latency, and resource efficiency with measurements.
