Job summary

Merlin Labs is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to drive Integration and Verification of the Mission Autonomy Sub-System within the Merlin Pilot System. This role focuses on test plan and procedure development, test case design, and producing comprehensive test reports.

You will ensure traceability from requirements to test artifacts, assess test facilities, and work with safety, hardware, and software teams to validate autonomous flight capabilities while maintaining safety-first practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in Integration and Verification/test procedure development.
• Experience in defining Test Facility requirements and verification strategies.
• Ability to align test procedures with program schedules and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with safety-critical systems and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Cases for Integration and Verification of the Mission Autonomy Sub-System with the Merlin Pilot System.
• Produce Test Reports and Problem Reports from testing.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test procedures.
• Assure Test Facilities are conformant for formal Integration and Verification testing.
• Collaborate with safety, hardware, and software teams to capture interfaces.
