Job summary

Merlin Labs is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to lead the Integration and Verification of the Mission Autonomy Sub-System within the Merlin Pilot System. You will develop comprehensive Test Plans, Procedures, and Cases, write Test Reports, and ensure traceability from requirements to tests, aligning work with program milestones.

You will collaborate with safety, hardware, and software teams to shape system architecture and verification strategies, contributing to FAA/EASA/DOD certification

Qualifications

Experience in integration and verification of flight control systems.
Ability to develop test facilities descriptions and requirements.
Experience with FAA/EASA/DOD certification support is a plus.
Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Cases for the Integration and Verification of the Mission Autonomy Sub-System with the Merlin Pilot System.
Produce Test Reports and Problem Reports from testing efforts.
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases and test procedures.
Assess test strategies to ensure Test Facilities support Sub-System testing.
