Job summary

Merlin Labs is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer focused on Integration and Verification of the Mission Autonomy Sub‑System with the Merlin Pilot System. You will lead test plan development, execute test procedures, and manage traceability from requirements to results on a fast‑moving, aerospace R&D program.

You will collaborate with safety, hardware, and software teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure test facilities support critical verification activities during development of

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Aerospace/Systems Engineering; MS preferred.
• 6-9 years of Integration and Verification/Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with Flight Control Systems testing and ML/Autonomy.
• Experience with requirements management and Test Facility development.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Plans, Procedures, and Cases for Integration & Verification of the Mission Autonomy Sub‑System with Merlin Pilot System.
• Produce Test Reports and Problem Reports from testing efforts.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases and test procedures.
• Align Test Plans and Procedures with program schedules and Test Facility capabilities.
• Assess test strategies to ensure Test Facilities support Sub‑Systems testing.
• Review requirements for testability and provide feedback to correct requirements.
• Ensure Test Facilities are conformed for formal Integration & Verification testing.
• Support Integration & Verification of Flight Autonomy Sub‑System on the Air Vehicle Platform.
