Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology leader, is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive requirements and verification for key products like Altius, Anvil, Bolt, and Ghost. You will design automated integration tests (SITL/HITL), develop testing strategies, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering, cloud and data tooling experience, and willingness to travel up to 25%. Eligible for U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming in analysis and simulation using Python, C++, or Rust.
• Degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• Experience in safety-critical software development standards and V&V strategies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to translate high-level problems into actionable engineering processes and detailed verification plans.
• Experience writing testable system- and software-level requirements.
• Proficiency in data modeling and visualization tools (Palantir Foundry, Tableau or similar).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel up to 25% for test field events.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define systems engineering strategies to drive requirements and verification for core products (Altius, Anvil, Bolt, Ghost).
• Design and implement automated system-level integration tests (SITL, HITL, hybrid tests).
• Define testing strategies for system and software requirements.
• Autonomously own delivery of outcomes across multiple programs.
• Coordinate frequent test events across software and hardware teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NATO UAV, MIL-STD-882E).
• Demonstrate ownership and align roadmaps with staffing plans.
• Collaborate with hardware, product, and test ops teams as needed.
