Iris Technology in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Systems Engineer 3 to provide senior technical leadership from requirements through design, integration, testing, and acceptance. You will mentor engineers and coordinate with management, customers, and cross-functional teams to meet program objectives.

Responsibilities include defining system specs, test plans, and ensuring system integration with a strong focus on schedule, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years experience; 15+ preferred in technical R&D, aerospace, or defense.
• Experience leading technical projects with schedules and budgets.
• Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams toward program objectives.
• Strong interaction with customers and technical relationships.

Responsabilités

• Interface with customers to establish requirements and objectives.
• Plan and monitor technical performance of programs.
• Develop system specifications and test procedures.
• Lead integration, testing, and final acceptance activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to standards, architectures, and quality.
