Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 to support our Cyber Mission business unit located in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role involves analyzing user needs, drafting CONOPS, and turning high-level architectures into concrete requirements and specifications using Agile/DevOps practices.

The position requires guiding development, coordinating with Government stakeholders, and conducting verification activities, with telework possible based on tasking and approvals.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.
• 14 years’ SE experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 5 years supplementary SE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Ability to implement comprehensive SOA solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze users’ needs, draft CONOPS, and develop system requirements and specifications.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through integration and test plans.
• Interact with Government stakeholders on technical considerations, risks, and conflicts.
• Communicate with program personnel and government leadership.
• Plan and conduct system verification activities.
