Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to guide blade repair, system design trade-offs, and cost optimization across services for wind turbine fleets. You will lead cross-functional teams with PMs and product lines to deliver robust, safe, and efficient solutions from concept through field operation.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least five years in engineering/technology, and two years with wind turbine systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working on wind turbine system and/or services related projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for execution of blade repair operational changes and development of tooling to reduce cycle time and decrease costs.
• Identify and develop programs to drive down time to return units to service.
• Partner with Program Management and Product Line to guide optimal design decisions for current products, new products, and commercial deals to achieve business objectives.
• Lead technical program teams on system trade-offs and optimizations with a focus on the reduction of Services costs.
• Communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences.
• Lead Services investments from pre-conceptual design work through design, validation and launch, prioritizing and managing risks on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Contribute to development of the Multigeneration Engineering Plan for Services, focused on improving operations through cycle time reduction, tool development, and process improvements.
• Effectively manage program requirements and requirement flow down to optimize product offering and competitiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology


• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working on wind turbine system and/or services related projects

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes. For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
