GE Vernova seeks a Lead Subsystem Integration Engineer – Machine Head to drive technical development and integration of the Machine Head sub-system. You will guide technical definition, design integrity, validation, and quality, leading cross‑functional teams from concept through operation.
You will provide engineering leadership across requirements, architecture, verification, and field issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of product development processes.
The Lead Subsystem Integration Engineer – Machine Head will lead technical development and implementation of Machine Head Sub-System Level integration. They are the first point of contact for technical definition, design integrity, validation, and subsystem quality. The engineer will provide technical guidance and team leadership/coordination on new product definition and program execution from concept through operation, as well as contributing to continuous improvement in product development processes such as RCA, SAFER, and field issue resolution.
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience). For roles in the USA, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering and extensive years of experience working on wind turbine engineering projects, issues and/or technologies.
System design mindset and experience in engineering new product development (NPI) lifecycle. Experience with component design ownership including design, validation, and fleet support. Effective problem identification and solving ability. Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal skills, leading and influencing skills and positive energy. Knowledge of wind turbine component design criteria and wind turbine systems integration. Ability to break down complex issues, determine possible courses of action, and enable effective decision making. Conceptual design and system-level trade-off experience. Field issues, test and/or validation experience. Knowledgeable about GE Wind Turbine design practices and 3rd party certification requirements. Wind Turbine Machine Head work experience or familiarity. Strong technical aptitude.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
