Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks a Systems Design Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace High-Power RF Solutions (HPRF) product development team. This role serves as the hub between RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams.

The Systems Design Engineer will interpret program requirements, establish technical development plans, assess technical risk, and ensure engineering commitments are met while coordinating activities across disciplines and driving design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of product development experience with complex RF systems for defense/aerospace.
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies and product development processes.
• Strong understanding of requirements management and product development.
• Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams through concept, design, and validation phases.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop top level and subassembly requirements.
• Define detailed design and performance requirements.
• Monitor key design activities.
• Develop and maintain design engineering schedules.
• Track engineering action items, technical dependencies, and design review outcomes.
• Coordinate activities across RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams.
