Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Analog Design Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace HPRF team in Richardson, TX.

You will lead the design of CCAs for solid-state power amplifiers and other high-power RF systems, handling analog, RF, and mixed-signal circuits across the product lifecycle. The role requires strong RF/analog background, circuit simulation skills, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal design.
• MS/PhD in Analog Design preferred with relevant project work.
• Experience designing CCAs for high-power RF systems and SSPAs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, RF, and mixed-signal CCAs for SSPA and high-power RF amplifiers.
• Integrate bias/control circuits, GaN support circuitry, power conditioning, and monitoring circuits.
• Perform circuit simulations to ensure performance, robustness, and reliability.
• Collaborate with PCB layout to optimize grounding, power distribution, thermal, and EMI/EMC.
• Support RF subsystem integration and bring-up activities.
