Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks a Systems Design Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace High-Power RF Solutions (HPRF) product development team. This role serves as the hub between RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams.

The Systems Design Engineer will interpret program requirements, establish technical development plans, assess technical risk, and ensure engineering commitments are met while coordinating activities across disciplines and driving design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of product development experience with complex RF systems for defense/aerospace.
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies and product development processes.
• Strong understanding of requirements management and product development.
• Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams through concept, design, and validation phases.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

• Monitor key design activities.
• Develop and maintain design engineering schedules.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$86,600 -$182,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
