Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace High-Power RF Solutions (HPRF) product development team. This role serves as the hub between RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams.

You will collaborate with engineering leads to interpret program requirements, establish technical development plans, assess risk, and ensure engineering commitments are met throughout concept, design, and validation phases.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of product development experience with complex RF systems for defense and/or aerospace applications.
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies and product development processes.
• Strong understanding of requirements management and product development.
• Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams through concept, design, and validation phases.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Skyworks is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace High-Power RF Solutions (HPRF) product development team. This role serves as the hub between RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams. The Systems Design Engineer works closely with engineering leads to interpret program requirements, establish technical development plans, assess technical risk, and ensure engineering commitments are met.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of product development experience with complex RF systems for defense and/or aerospace applications
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies and product development processes
• Strong understanding of requirements management and product development
• Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams through concept, design, and validation phases
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

This position requires a Security Clearance. Applicant must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$86,600 -$182,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
