Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Manager – Management Systems Development to lead engineering and operational delivery for enterprise applications, governance, resiliency, and visibility across hybrid environments.

You will provide people leadership for a software engineering team of ~8–10, shape delivery plans, and ensure adherence to security and risk controls while enabling automation and scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years experience with management approaches, tools, and techniques.
• At least 5 years experience with connecting distributed software and services across heterogeneous platforms.
• At least 10 years experience within a total Information Technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of enterprise applications and platform capabilities.
• Own delivery outcomes, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards.
• Translate business and technology requirements into actionable delivery plans and execution roadmaps.
• Partner with product, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver integrated, enterprise-aligned solutions.
• Accountable for production stability, availability, and incident response for supported platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement in monitoring, alerting, and operational efficiency.
