Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to lead the design, deployment, and oversight of resilient, secure hybrid-cloud platforms. You will collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions, implement CI/CD pipelines, and promote best practices in observability and compliance.

You will mentor staff, drive automation, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards while supporting an in-office culture with role-based flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of job-related experience required.
• Hands-on with databases like Oracle/Exadata, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, Redis or DB2.
• Experience operating infrastructure services and database workloads in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and automated deployment.
• Proficiency in Python with APIs for AI-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead defect, incident, problem, and change review meetings and release activities.
• Manage stability, resiliency, reliability, and performance of supported systems.
• Provide escalation point and leadership for triage of incidents or engagements.
• Mentor staff and contribute to onboarding processes.
• Design, deploy, and maintain databases on containers with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
