Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Software Engineer Manager to lead a large department's application development portfolio. The role focuses on strategy, reliability, and maturity of systems while aligning with business needs.

You will manage design, deployment, and maintenance, and partner across TODD to strengthen risk management and cyber security. Previous banking/financial services tech leadership is preferred and onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Eight years of relevant experience, with at least two in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
• Experience leading software engineering in regulated industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages design, development, deployment, and maintenance for application systems within area of responsibility.
• Serves as primary technology contact for senior management to develop tech solutions that improve efficiency.
• Creates and refines operational processes to ensure regulatory and audit compliance.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration to design, develop, and verify system solutions.
• Defines performance requirements and ensures interface compatibility across systems.
