Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Sr. Staff Engineer to lead architectural innovation and strategic technical direction at scale. You will shape long‑term tech strategy and align engineering with product and business outcomes.

You will mentor leaders, drive organization‑wide standards, and translate customer needs into reliable, high‑impact solutions while enabling sustainable growth and observability early in design.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Kotlin, Java or Go.
• Experience introducing and scaling shared infrastructure across multiple teams.
• Proficiency with CI/CD workflows, cloud infrastructure, and observability tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive architectural clarity and strategic technical alignment.
• Experience translating customer and clinical needs into reliable, maintainable solutions.
• A track record of improving developer experience, team velocity, and system sustainability.
