Job summary

FutureProof Technologies is seeking a senior backend engineer to own the systems architecture for climate-smart property insurance. You will build and scale REST APIs and backend services in a cloud-native environment, collaborating with product and data teams across remote locations in the US.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience building and running backend services and REST APIs in production.
• Experience with a major cloud provider and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Proficiency with Rust or TypeScript to build safe, typed systems.
• Strong software engineering hygiene with automated testing.
