Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer in Florida to design system architectures and drive model-based systems engineering efforts. You will define key capabilities, performance requirements, and external interfaces to meet customer specifications.

You will evaluate architectures and support DODAF/SysML viewpoints. The role requires DoD Top Secret clearance eligibility, MBSE tool expertise, and strong requirements management.

Qualifications

Bachelors in STEM with 14+ years engineering experience, or Master’s in STEM with 12+ years, or Doctorate in STEM with 9+ years.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance (Interim required to start).
Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, and other MBSE platforms.
Expert in Model Based Systems Engineering and Architecture Development with SysML.

Responsibilities

Define system architectures and perform MBSE‑driven CONOPS development.
Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Conduct trade studies and requirements allocation to optimize solutions.
Develop and decompose functional data flows and interfaces.
