Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, Florida, is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer Architect to join our fast-paced team. You will maintain the engineering model, develop structure and behavior diagrams, and apply MBSE techniques using Cameo in an agile environment.

Your role requires leading cross-functional collaboration, modeling software systems, and managing requirements from decomposition to verification. A DoD clearance (Interim Top Secret) is required to start.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
Experience with Cameo Suite and Agile framework.
Experience in MBSE and modeling software systems.
Active DoD Secret clearance and eligibility for Top Secret clearance (Interim to start).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

Create conceptual data models and data flows with cross-functional teams.
Design, develop, and document MBSE-based systems and data models.
Review modifications for cross-compatibility.
Implement data strategies and develop physical data models.
Coach team members on requirements, architecture, design, and model implementation.
Perform systems requirements analysis and manage decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation.
