Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) desirable.
• Experience in hardware/interconnect design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical strategy for customer solutions involving Amphenol's high speed backplane connector portfolio (board-to-board, hybrid, and related topologies).
• Serve as the technical face of HSBP for strategic customers, translating system-level requirements into connector architecture direction.
• Guide the HSBP product roadmap with SI engineering, mechanical design, and product management, aligning with standards and timelines.
• Prepare and deliver high-level technical presentations to key stakeholders and executives.
• Provide advanced technical support on backplane interconnect problems raised by customers or internal teams.
• Develop differentiation strategy for HSBP products relative to competitors.
• Collaborate with optics and other units to ensure a consistent systems-level narrative.
• Some travel required.
