Job summary

Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide strategic systems engineering and governance for JCWA programs at Ft. Meade, MD. This onsite role requires TS/SCI w/CI Poly and deep DoD program experience.

You will lead architecture governance, develop enterprise SOPs and ADRs, and drive large-scale PI planning and Agile execution across 900+ personnel. Strong communication and Jira/Confluence expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15 years of experience or equivalent.
• DoD/defense contracting experience.
• Experience with systems-of-systems architectures and enterprise programs.
• Expert-level Confluence and Jira usage for dashboards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of JCWA systems engineering artifacts and reference designs.
• Develop enterprise governance products and technical records (ADRs, MFRs, SOPs).
• Support JCWA-ICAM and maintain awareness of DoD policies.
• Plan PI events for 900+ personnel and drive Agile execution.
• Build dashboards and reporting in Confluence/Jira to improve transparency.
