Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support our customer in the United States. The role focuses on designing architecture across software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future cross-functional needs.

Responsibilities include developing high level system design diagrams, ensuring adherence to OSI/IEEE open systems standards, and evaluating integration options for future acquisitions. Travel requirements are 75%+ and a Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of experience.
• Must have and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Eligible for a Top Secret.
• Willing to travel 75% or more.

Responsibilities

• Designs architecture to include software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements and cross-functional interfaces.
• Identifies options for meeting functional and technical requirements including updates to hardware/software.
• Develops high level system design diagrams and ensures compliance with OSI/IEEE standards for open systems and API integrations.
• Oversees software system solutions to support integration of future acquisitions and growth.
• Promotes alignment of internal IT with business goals and socializes architecture in leadership meetings.
