VTG Defense is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support our customer in Chantilly, Virginia. The role focuses on designing architectures across software, hardware, and communications, ensuring compliance with OSS/ISO/IEEE frameworks and integrating future acquisitions.

You will oversee end-to-end architecture quality and align IT with business goals. Requirements include a BA/BS in a technical field with 10+ years of experience, a Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility preferred), and

Qualifications

BA/BS in a technical discipline with 10+ years of experience.
Must have and maintain a Secret clearance.
Eligible for a Top Secret.
Willing to travel 75% or more.

Responsibilities

Designs architecture to include software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements and interfaces.
Identifies options for meeting functional and technical requirements including hardware/software upgrades.
Develops high level system design diagrams.
Ensures OSS/ISO/IEEE standards compliance across API and external environments.
Evaluates problems in workflows and planning and develops corrective actions.
Supports design of software system solutions for future acquisitions and growth.
Oversees architecture quality from design to deployment for B2B solutions.
Aligns internal IT with business goals while promoting growth.
Researches and designs deep technical solutions for new products to improve efficiency.
Designs and supports business processes using modeling tools.
Integrates systems to reach a target state architecture.
