Job summary

VTG is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to design and oversee enterprise architectures that span multiple business lines. You will craft high-level system designs, assess options, and align IT with business goals across APIs and external environments.

You will ensure open standards compliance, integrate future acquisitions, and guide implementation while traveling extensively. A technical BA/BS and active Secret clearance are prerequisites for this role.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline with 10+ years of experience.
• Must have and maintain a Secret clearance; Top Secret eligible.
• Willing to travel 75% or more.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture including software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future requirements.
• Identify options for meeting functional/technical requirements and recommend upgrades.
• Develop high-level system design diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with open systems, OSI/IEEE/OSE references and applicable APIs.
• Promote alignment of IT environment with business goals and growth.
• Collaborate with Director to design robust, scalable products across lines of business.
• Oversee architecture activities across design, development, testing, and deployment.
