Job summary

VT Group (VTG) in Bethesda, MD, seeks an experienced IT Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to shape and document the client’s IT enterprise architecture, ensuring interoperability across organizations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, gather requirements from stakeholders, and develop integrated solutions while leveraging TOGAF/DoDAF and SysML/UML frameworks. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• BS degree with 12–15 years or Masters with 10–13 years of relevant experience; Doctorate is possible.
• Proven Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer experience.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
• Familiarity with SysML or UML and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Experience migrating systems to an IC Cloud and integrating systems in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop an IT enterprise architecture outlining critical capabilities, dependencies, and risks.
• Collaborate with content providers, consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
• Work independently or in small teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support senior government civilians and gather stakeholder requirements.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
