Job summary

VTG is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support our customer. Design architecture to cover software, hardware, and communications to meet present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.

You will develop high level system design diagrams and ensure systems comply with OSI, ISO, IEEE OSE reference models for Information Management across APIs and external environments. Travel 75%+ is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a BA/BS in a technical discipline and at least 10 years of experience.
• Must have and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Eligible for a Top Secret.
• Willing to travel 75% or more.

Responsibilities

• Designs architecture to include software, hardware, and communications to support current and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
• Identifies, assesses, and presents options for meeting functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades.
• Develops high level system design diagrams.
• Ensures systems are compliant with OSI, ISO, IEEE OSE reference models and applicable interfaces.
• Evaluates workflows and planning to develop corrective actions.
• Supports design of software solutions for future acquisitions and growth.
• Oversees the quality of architecture, including design, testing and deployment for B2B solutions.
