Senior Systems Analyst (Epic Cadence Certification)

Job Summary

Work at the highest technical level across all phases of application systems analysis, workflow analysis, build, design, testing, interface knowledge, and programming activities. Formulate and define system scope and objectives under general direction. Capable of working independently, in teams, or project groups, and able to multitask. May lead or complete project phases and provide guidance to less experienced analysts. Collaborate with business owners, physicians, clinicians, stakeholders, and IT personnel to develop best practice models. Support implementation and upgrades of clinical and biomedical applications. Provide weekly project status updates. Travel to KSC clinic locations for implementation, training, and support.

Qualifications
Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree or 3+ years relevant experience
  • Preferred: Clinical or advanced degree
Experience
  • Required: 3+ years in healthcare clinical operations, project management, systems design, or support
  • Preferred: EMR implementation/support experience
Licenses
  • Required: Valid Texas Driver’s License
Skills
  • Strong ability to define and translate clinical requirements into system configurations.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of medical practice informatics and clinical data sets.
  • Proficiency with desktop systems and clinical/practice management software.
  • Ability to articulate benefits and outcomes of projects.
Additional
  • Proven communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, quick learner, and ability to obtain Epic System Certification or other relevant certifications.
  • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9 coding preferred.
