Responsibilities

This position will enable the success of Mayo Clinic’s strategic investment in administrative systems including Oracle and UKG’s reporting and analytics (R&A) solutions through the Fusion Data Intelligence Platform (FDI). Success in this role will require the ability to build and maintain key data, reporting, and analytics via OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Analytics, and to execute data, reporting, and analytical needs through all project stages: Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Acquisition and Preparation, Testing, Validation, Visualization/Model Development, Deployment, Maintenance, and Retirement.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Design, build, and test data augmentation and reporting solutions in Oracle Analytic tools, including processing, cleansing, and verifying data integrity in partnership with IT.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver Oracle Analytics / FDI and ERP/HCM reports, dashboards, and extracts.
  • Schedule and deploy ad hoc and recurring analytics.
  • Collaborate with business users to create functional and technical design documentation (FDDs/TDDs).
  • Engage with Harwick Project implementation partner for onboarding and knowledge transfer.
  • Perform regression testing during system upgrades for Oracle Fusion, Oracle Analytics, and FDI products.

Must have a strong working knowledge of Human Resources and Talent Management processes, providing reporting and analytics support across multiple clinical and business functions. Understand end-to-end business processes and the impact of IT functions. Lead R&A analysis and support for installed systems and projects, including data, reporting, and analytics design, testing, and implementation. Lead transformation efforts to optimize R&A processes, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience. Advise Product Owners on strategic product directions and develop product roadmaps. Proficient with existing systems and certified in relevant applications as required. Understand business strategies and configure, develop, or modify R&A solutions accordingly, ensuring data integrity and stakeholder requirements are met. Provide quality assurance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support data governance. Manage medium to large projects, contributing to end-to-end R&A process testing activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience in administrative areas such as HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare, or IT. Alternatively, H.S. Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience. Vendor application certification may be required. Previous healthcare experience and knowledge of administrative systems are preferred. Experience with project management, systems analysis and design, software testing, process management, documentation, and data analysis is preferred. Must be customer-service oriented, timely, able to manage multiple priorities, and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Oracle data lineage
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud HR (HCM) Fusion modules and Oracle FDI Subject Areas, especially Talent Management
  • Strong grasp of data warehouse concepts and design
  • Interest and ability to train on new Oracle and UKG technologies, including Oracle certifications
  • Experience as a data scientist or developer with Oracle Analytics, Oracle ADW, EPM, OAC, and ODI
  • Experience with Eightfold

Salary Range: $100,339.20 - $140,462.40 / year
