4A Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to lead systems analysis, solution design, application enhancement, testing, and delivery coordination for complex enterprise applications. The role serves as a senior technical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into effective solutions and driving initiatives through implementation and production support.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in systems analysis, business systems analysis, application development, or a related technical discipline.
Experience leading requirements analysis, system design, and software solution implementation.
Strong understanding of application architecture, databases, data structures, data access, and system integration.
Experience with enterprise application development, testing, implementation, and production support.
Experience with technical and functional specifications, system documentation, and user documentation.
Experience with software conversions, application upgrades, or modernization.
Demonstrated experience coordinating project deliverables, dependencies, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
Experience with UAT, integration testing, defect management, and quality assurance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical and business issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis of business and technical requirements and translate them into system designs, functional specifications, and implementation plans.
Design and evaluate application solutions addressing functionality, security, integration, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Develop and review specifications for databases, applications, interfaces, security, storage, networks, and supporting infrastructure.
Create system architecture, process, data-flow, integration, and application diagrams.
Lead application enhancements, implementations, software conversions, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
Work closely with developers and technical teams to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure solutions align with approved designs.
Develop and maintain technical, functional, operational, and user documentation.
Design and support reports, audit trails, logging, security controls, and system workflows.
Lead or coordinate unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Analyze defects and production issues, coordinate resolution, and support root-cause analysis.
Coordinate project deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and implementation activities.
Identify scope, risks, technical dependencies, and resource requirements and communicate impacts to project leadership.
Serve as a senior point of contact for application, database, integration, and system issues.
Mentor or provide technical guidance to analysts, developers, and project team members as appropriate.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership to communicate progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
