Charles IT in Middletown, CT is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide field and escalation support for a diverse client base. You will troubleshoot, document processes, and ensure reliable IT operations across Windows Server, Office 365, VMware, and network devices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration.
• Certifications such as MCSA, VCP, CCNA are a plus.
• Experience with ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, and Office 365.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues for end users.
• Support of Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Office 365/Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
• Support of virtual environments including VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Configure, install, and support various network devices and services, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, & security.
• Effectively communicate with customers on ticket progress, impending changes, or agreed outages, etc.
• Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
• Maintain daily documentation by entering time, expenses, and all work as service tickets in ConnectWise.
• Other duties as assigned
