Job summary

Erias Ventures in Columbia, MD seeks a Senior System Administrator to support installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems, including UNIX and Windows operating environments and enterprise network devices. You will provide Tier I and Tier II support, monitor systems, and assist with escalation and communication of issues to agency management and internal customers.

Qualifications

• This position requires a polygraph within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier I (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Provide Tier I and Tier 2 problem escalation and resolution.
• Support day-to-day operation, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Coordinate status communication to agency management and internal customers.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity planning.
