Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to support enterprise IT systems for a government customer at Fort Meade, MD. You will drive implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of critical systems, provide Tier 1/2 support, and manage day-to-day operations of servers, networks, and storage.

Strong OS experience and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required. You will contribute to system capacity planning, performance optimization, and technical documentation, while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification or higher is required.
At least three years in Modern operating systems and network architectures is preferred.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise-focused engineering support for IT systems, including implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and manage daily configuration and operation tasks for client/server/storage/network devices.
Troubleshoot IT systems and hydrate status reports for management and customers; optimize system operations and capacity planning.
