Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Specialized Infrastructure Services Systems Administrator in Jessup, MD to support a major IC contract. You’ll administer Linux and VMware, assess end user architectures, and coordinate with network and storage teams to meet capacity and security requirements.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a technical bachelor's degree, and extensive systems administration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; ten years’ experience as a systems administrator.
• Two years of experience in modern operating systems and network architectures.
• Two years of experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development, risk assessments, IA metrics.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher is required.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments of end user architectures and system administration solutions.
• Administer Linux systems and VMware.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and server personnel to design solutions.
• Install and administer desktops for critical user-access systems.
