Job summary

Leidos in Suitland, MD is seeking a Systems Administrator to support ONI activities, providing specialized cybersecurity and IT support for critical intelligence systems in parametric modeling, engineering analysis, and foreign material exploitation.

You will manage a highly specialized technical environment with high-end workstations, graphics, laboratory equipment, data loading, and cloud administration, ensuring secure, reliable systems while supporting accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

8+ years of related field experience (or 6+ with master's).
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
IAT Level II 8570 certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
5+ years of Windows System Administration experience.
Expert server installation, configuration, and security.
Extensive Windows hardware, software, and network knowledge.
Experience with C&A, DIACAP, RMF, ICD 503, or NIST RMF.
Experience coordinating with technology teams to support services.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Administration.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within prescribed timelines.
Track change requests and trouble tickets in ServiceNow or Remedy AR to ensure documentation and management.
Maintain configuration management and lifecycle documentation for Mission IT assets.
Evaluate system needs and provide recommendations for software updates and hardware replacements.
Support desktop system updates, accreditation compliance, and security authorizations.
