Job summary

Ondas Sentinel in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to lead design, security, and reliability of core enterprise systems. This hands-on role covers on-premises and cloud infrastructure, IAM platforms, endpoint management, and backup/recovery services, with cross-team collaboration in a regulated environment.

The Senior Systems Administrator will partner with Infrastructure, Security, Network, and Applications teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient systems, with on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in systems administration or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AD, and backup/recovery.
• Experience with least-privilege models and privileged account management.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain core infrastructure platforms (Windows Server, virtualization, storage, backup).
• Manage and secure Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including CA, MFA, and privileged access controls.
• Deploy and harden endpoint environments using Intune, Group Policy, and security solutions.
• Design and maintain backup, DR, and BC capabilities; test recovery procedures.
• Patching and vulnerability remediation across servers and endpoints.
• Support incident response, containment, recovery, and post-incident activities.
• Develop runbooks, diagrams, configuration standards, and asset inventories.
• Lead modernization initiatives including cloud adoption and platform upgrades.
• Mentor junior admins and collaborate with vendors/ MSPs.
