Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator (Level 3) for 100% on-site work in Oklahoma City, OK. This senior role covers end-to-end support, design, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure, serving as the highest escalation point and SME for complex issues.

The candidate will manage Windows/UNIX/Linux servers, HPC, app servers, desktops, and networks; lead change and release management; and ensure compliance with standards while collaborating with customers and engineers.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification required prior to start.
• Minimum 5 years of systems administration experience.
• Hands-on Windows Server 2008/2012/2012R2; Windows 7/8 as applicable.
• VMware ESX 5.1+; Active Directory; GPO deployment and troubleshooting.
• HP server hardware experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end hardware and software support for Windows and Unix/Linux servers, HPC systems, application servers, desktops, and network systems.
• Lead configuration, change, and release management activities.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and permanent remediation of complex system issues.
• Manage asset lifecycle including tracking, maintenance, and disposition.
• Maintain compliance with client and customer technical standards.
• Serve as senior escalation point and SME to customers and program leadership.
• Develop program knowledge to effectively represent CNO services.
