Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Navy NETTN Network Administrator in San Diego to manage NETTN client/server systems and cybersecurity protection for enterprise modeling and simulation applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to update, monitor, and maintain servers and workstations across the enterprise.

The role requires a strong background in server administration, DoD STIG-compliant patching, and active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 4 years with a Masters; or 10 years with a HS diploma.
• Candidate must have a Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Candidate must have a strong background in server administration.
• Candidate must have Linux+ or Microsoft certification.
• Candidate must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Candidate must maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of multi-user computer systems and coordinate with network admins.
• Set up administrator and service accounts; document systems; tune performance; install software; interact with users.
• Develop and enforce policies for computing resources; administer Windows servers; manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Create and modify DHCP reservations; patch systems per DoD STIG guidelines.
