Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture (JV) seeks a Sr. System Administrator to support a dynamic, mission-driven environment in Camden, Arkansas.

The role demands strong Windows and Linux administration, security posture alignment, and hands-on experience with AD, VMware, and backup solutions. Ideal candidates will bring 8+ years of system experience, hold a DoD Secret clearance, and be capable of leading system-related initiatives while ensuring 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• Typically, bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of direct system experience or a master’s degree and 5+ years of directly related experience.
• Active DoD secret clearance with U.S. citizenship is required prior to start date.
• Proven Windows and Linux experience across enterprises.
• Extensive experience with AD, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, AWS, MySQL, remote access gateways, and backup/recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and patch IT systems at the Camden facility while ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Provide system administration across Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Assist with DNS, DHCP, LDAP/AD integration, file permissions, and network services.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to meet security requirements and assess risks.
• Maintain and document system configurations, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
• Lead and participate in technical reviews, meetings, and cross-functional tasks.
