Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a System Administrator to manage Windows and Linux infrastructure for classified programs in a highly collaborative environment. The role requires a secret DoD clearance and hands-on experience with server, storage, and access management.

The candidate will provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems, with emphasis on security, backups, and cross-platform authentication. Onsite, travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, AD, server replication).
• Work as a team member in a fast-paced technology environment; troubleshoot to resolve issues of moderate to high scope and complexity.
• Understand data RAID, data backup uses and technologies; install and configure software for end users.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to maintain security requirements.
• Must obtain DoD 8140/8570 certification within 6 months of start date.
• Systems are operational 24x7; may require after-hours work.
• Travel up to 10% domestically as needed.
• Full-time, 100% onsite position.
