Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator L3 to join our growing team. You will maintain, support, and optimize the IT infrastructure, resolve escalated issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement advanced system enhancements.

Responsibilities include OS installation, AD/DP/DNS/DHCP administration, backup/recovery, automation scripting, and patch management. Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills are essential as a SME for core

Qualifications

• An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Last Poly within past 7 years.
• Proven experience as an L3 Systems Administrator in an enterprise environment.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise operating systems, such as Windows Server and/or Linux.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and vendors.
• Level 3: BS + 15 years experience

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) in physical and virtual environments.
• Manage user accounts, security permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the availability, integrity, and security of all hardware, server resources, and key processes.
• Administer core services, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Implement and manage system backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
• Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Manage system patching and updates to maintain security and compliance.
