Technology Resource Experts, LLC seeks an experienced Systems Administrator L3 to maintain and optimize the IT infrastructure. The role handles escalated issues, performs root cause analysis, and implements system enhancements with focus on core services and security.

Responsibilities include configuring servers, managing AD/DNS/DHCP, scripting for automation, and ensuring patching and backups. Requires TS/SCI with poly, enterprise experience, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required; last poly within 7 years.
• Cited experience as an L3 Systems Administrator in an enterprise environment.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server and Linux.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with teams and vendors.
• Level 3: BS + 15 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server OSs (Windows Server, Linux) in physical and virtual environments.
• Manage user accounts, security permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor performance and ensure availability, integrity, and security of hardware, servers, and processes.
• Administer core services: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash).
• Manage system patching and updates for security and compliance.
