Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks a Senior IT Systems Administrator to support NAVSEA TEAM SUB and related program offices. You will administer daily computer networks, install upgrades, manage security tools, and train staff. A strong background in systems administration and Navy/DOD familiarity is required.

U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required. A BS/BA in engineering or IT and 10+ years of relevant experience are highly desirable. Competitive benefits accompany a professional work environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years professional experience in systems administration.
• DOD acquisition / In-Service Programs experience desirable.
• Navy Programs experience desirable.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Willingness to obtain/hold a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers.
• Install hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, and security tools.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools such as firewalls and IDS.
• Train staff on software applicable to their position.
• Assist customers with information technology and monitor system configuration.
