Job summary
ORBIS Inc. seeks an experienced cybersecurity-focused engineer to support Navy submarine program offices. You will apply science and engineering principles to develop economical solutions, design systems, and analyze environmental and user impact. Role involves supervision of testing and cost/time estimation for DoD/Navy projects.
Qualified candidates will have extensive IA/C&A experience, RMF familiarity, and a US citizenship with a secret clearance. Bachelor's degree required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical field.
- 10+ years of IA/Certification & Accreditation experience.
- Familiarity with Navy/industry cybersecurity requirements.
- Technical expertise in cybersecurity engineering for DoD/Navy systems.
- Level III Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) qualification.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Apply theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems.
- Design products and machinery; implement improved methods to extract, process, and use materials; develop new materials.
- Analyze the environmental and people impact of developed products or designed systems.
- Supervise testing, production, or maintenance to diagnose failures and ensure quality.
- Estimate time and cost to complete projects.
