Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a seasoned IT Systems Administrator to support the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers (PEO CVN) at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. You will help administer user seats, IT devices, and program office software under NMCI, while maintaining asset databases and responding to data calls.

The role requires 7+ years in systems administration, DoD IA knowledge, and a US Citizen with SECRET clearance. Onsite support and data-security compliance are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 7+ years experience in systems administration.
• Preferred: experience providing IT-related support to network users.
• Preferred: experience developing IT budgets and justification exhibits.
• Preferred: knowledge of DoD IA and cybersecurity compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist PEO Carriers in administering user seats and IT devices for PEO CVN personnel under NMCI.
• Maintain databases to track assigned equipment and software.
• Collect data in response to IT-related data calls.
• Serve as the onsite focal point for support in resolving network and device issues.
• Provide user assistance and training in hardware and software usage.
• Support cleanup of data spillage and implementation of system upgrades.
