Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support NAVSEA TEAM SUB and submarine program offices in a high-security environment in Washington, DC. You will oversee end-to-end development of hybrid software, web, and hardware products and manage the full lifecycle from specification to maintenance.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering, 10+ years in systems engineering, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Oversee the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.
• Integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.
• Manage the development cycle: specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.
• Lead the "big picture" of projects: cost, schedules and social issues.
• Typical Experience: 10 years in systems engineering; secret clearance desired.
