Job summary

StrongMind, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator 2 in Chandler, AZ. Hybrid work with hands-on ownership of identity, endpoint, and network environments. You’ll help design secure, reliable infrastructure and mentor junior staff while advancing automation and AI-assisted workflows.

You’ll collaborate across IT Operations, Security, Facilities, and partner schools to support critical platforms and annual assessments, with a focus on scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• End-to-end ownership of major technology platforms.
• Experience with cloud identity and MFA administration.

Responsibilities

• Own identity administration, including directory services, groups, roles, licensing, and conditional access.
• Manage endpoints across Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS including deployment and patching.
• Administer network infrastructure: firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, certificates, remote access.
• Operate cloud telephony and secure facilities collaboration with IT Ops and Facilities.
• Automate tasks with scripting and maintain runbooks and SOPs.
• Mentor Systems Administrator 1 and HelpDesk staff; lead projects as needed.
• Support annual statewide student assessment activities, including on-site support.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, People Success, and schools on initiatives.
