Job summary

Equity Methods in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Senior System Administrator to own and operate the platforms and endpoints the firm relies on daily. You will guide the transition from a virtual desktop model to managed, trusted laptops while ensuring secure access and compliant configurations.

You’ll work hands-on with Microsoft Intune, 365/Entra, Jamf, OneDrive and SharePoint, automate tasks with PowerShell or Python, and maintain SOC 1 and SOC 2 evidence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of system administration or IT operations in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience with Intune and Microsoft 365/Entra including conditional access.
• Experience with Jamf for macOS and iPad management.
• Proven ability to administer SaaS platforms (Monday.com/Jira/HubSpot) with permissions and licenses.
• Knowledge of OneDrive/SharePoint administration, sharing, and retention policies.
• Scripting to automate onboarding/offboarding, reporting, and evidence collection.

Responsibilities

• Administer core platforms: provisioning, permissions, workspace structure, integrations, licenses.
• Manage Claude access, spending controls, and budget monitoring.
• Own Intune for Windows fleet and Jamf for Macs/iPads, including enrollment and patching.
• Build the trusted laptop program, including encryption and conditional access.
• Support the VDI-to-laptop transition, including imaging and user onboarding.
• Administer M365/Entra identity, SSO, group management, and onboarding/offboarding end-to-end.
• Govern OneDrive/SharePoint storage, retention, and external sharing controls.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or Python; automate reporting and evidence collection.
• Monitor security alerts across M365 Defender, Intune, and endpoint tooling; triage and escalate as needed.
• Execute ISMS automation in Vanta and maintain SOC 1/2 evidence (access reviews, patch records).
• Identify control gaps and access drift to prevent audit findings.
